Visitor Gates Open 10am and close at 4:30pm on each day
For many years (many years ago!) members used to go camping to this event for the whole weekend. Attendance dropped off as enthusiasm for camping wained but Powderham is not too far to make it a day trip. One of the days clashes with the Walton in Gordano Centenary Fete but there’s always the Sunday.
It is the largest car show in the South West and one of the largest in the country with thousands of visitors and exhibitors each day.
The range of vehicles displayed is huge, cars from veteran to modern classics, motorcycles, agricultural, commercial, military and steam. Actually quite difficult to list hence the title ‘Historic Vehicle Gathering’ are though only words that can encompass it.
