First though, some important THANK YOUs:

  • To Penny, Lynne, Yvonne, Mark, Andy, Kevin, Bert, Pam, Helene and Steve who prepared our great Saturday evening meal.
  • To Mark Neale who once again rose so well to the challenge of Saturday evening's entertainment and also flagged off our entrants.
  • To Bert Hurditch who arranged, once again, for us to use the fantastic facilities at Barton Camp and to the Domestic Goddesses who helped to clear up afterwards.
  • To all the BAMGOC members (both committee and otherwise) who each bought their very individual and special talents together to produce another terrific weekend.
  • To those who generously supported the raffle both by donating prizes and buying tickets.

Just a brief note to thank you for a very enjoyable day. The route was excellent and the paperwork very good and accurate. The only errors we made was turning over two pages instead of one early on ! but we soon got back on track. I am sending a membership application form in tomorrow.

Would you please pass on a big thank and well done to all the hard working team who put on an excellent weekend of events for the 16th Brunel Run.
Four of us travelled up from Southampton and had a great time.

Dear Hellie and Pauline (and all at BAMGOC)

Once again you have all surpassed yourselves - each year The Brunel Run is better than the year before. As always you made your "guests" so very welcome and that personal touch ensured everyone had a great time. The superb weekend was not really a car event but a meeting of old friends and an introduction to new friends. Huge thanks to everyone especially the "Saturday Night Meal Ladies"

love to all, Tim Hipwell, MGOC SW Regional Secretary
