10am until 5pm - Saturday 14th June 2025
10am until 4pm - Sunday 15th June 2025
Celebrate our wartime heritage with an unforgettable day out at The Dig For Victory Show—a vintage family festival like no other! Held just outside Bristol on 14th & 15th June, this immersive 1940s experience brings history to life for all ages.
Explore the sights, sounds, and stories of wartime through hands-on learning, re-enactments, and our special 1940s farm. Discover military vehicles, live music and dancing, history talks, and vintage stalls full of character.
Enjoy vintage games, delicious local food, a charming tea room and bar, arena events, and more.
Preserving heritage is at the heart of this event and it’s a rare treat to be able to see such a huge number of restored vehicles and artillery from private collections across the UK. See classic cars and armoured vehicles, or get up close and personal with a real Tank – it's all here!
The Shopland Collection will also be on display. This is one of the largest collections of military vehicles in the South West. A handful of the vehicles in the collection have been used in film and television productions.
Dogs are welcome at Dig For Victory! Please ensure they are kept on leads at all times and be aware that there are live animals in the farm and loud bangs in the programme!
Car parking at the event is free of charge.

BRING YOUR MG! - PICNIC AT BARN FARM
In place of our usual "Bring Your MG to Club Night", we are having a picnic at Roger Triggols farm which is on the main road through Tickenham.
We have had several runs finishing there in the past and have been made very welcome.
Some members may not be familiar with this very interesting venue which is not just a farm but has car-shaped treasures hidden behind its barn doors, many of which have starred in films and TV series as well as being used as wedding cars.
A run is being organised starting from Gordano Services at approx 10.45 (meet 10.15?) to arrive at the farm at around 12.30. Those who can't make the run are welcome to join us at the farm from 12.30 onwards.

The David Warren Classic Tour
This year’s classic tour entries have now opened. It will be on Sunday the 20th July and will start at Glastonbury abbey car park with the help of Mary Parker at the Abbey tea rooms and again finish at the Oake Manor Golf Club with a different route to last year. Obviously it is all in aid of the Dorset and Somerset air ambulance, we do not make a penny from it. The price this year is £59 for members and £64 for non-members.
The price includes breakfast for two people (with tea/coffee), carvery for 2 people, dessert for 2 people, the tour pack and a nice donation.- which is what it is all about. Last year we raised £1000 from this event. Total raised for the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance is now over £11,000.
