BRUNEL RUN 2025
THE BRUNEL RUN 2025 IS NOW FULL AND BOOKINGS ARE CLOSED.
The Brunel Run 2025 is scheduled for Saturday 6th September.
It starts at The Bridge Inn, Yatton, where you can buy breakfast/coffee/tea if you wish. The run is around 85 miles and takes in a steam heritage venue for a leisurely stop. It finishes in Nailsea with a lovely afternoon tea, the opportunity to socialise and maybe skittles to follow. We hope to include as many of the usual Brunel amusements as we can cram in!
The price of the run is £30 per car with afternoon tea at £7.50 per person (a proper afternoon tea!). All details are on the booking form which you can download HERE.

Autumn Classic Racing Festival @ Castle Combe
The Autumn Classic returns, bringing competitive classic car racing to the South West with this fan-favourite and RAC best nationally-based classic racing award-winning event.
Celebrating 75 years of Castle Combe Circuit this year with a featured display based on the event poster, commemorating the first meeting that took place in 1950, as well as showcasing over 50 race cars from that era.
Hoping a group from BAMGOC may want to attend this event.

APPLE PRESSING AND PICNIC WITH THE MODEL T CLUB AT BARN FARM.
We have been invited to join the Model T Club at Barn Farm, Tickenham, for a picnic lunch and apple pressing afternoon. No definite plans yet about a run to the farm but an opportunity to see some amazing old cars and an authentic vintage farm activity. Apple pressing the way it used to be! Arrive at 1-ish with a picnic or 2-ish for the apple pressing experience. DON'T FORGET TO BRING APPLES!

MG Car Club 95th Anniversary Open Day
The MG Car Club will be opening the doors of Kimber House, the Club’s historic headquarters in Abingdon, on Sunday 12th October from 10.00am – 4.00pm to mark its 95th anniversary.
Visitors are welcome to drop in at any time throughout the day to explore the Club’s on-site memorabilia, browse the archive, and visit the Club shop. For those who wish to get behind the wheel of their MG, a souvenir programme will be available, which inside will have driving routes published offering the chance to retrace some of the famous factory test routes in the Abingdon area.
For anyone who has yet to visit Abingdon – the birthplace of MGs between 1929 and 1980 – this is an ideal opportunity to experience its unique heritage.
