PICNIC WITH THE MODEL T CLUB AT BARN FARM.
We have, once again, been invited to join the Model T Club at Barn Farm, Tickenham, for a picnic and apple pressing afternoon. No organised run to the farm - just arrive at about 1.30pm for an opportunity to see some amazing old cars and authentic vintage farm paraphernalia. Roger may also devise one of his famous quizzes.
Bring your own picnic!
We can sit in the barn if it's raining. Tea and coffee will be available.
Because of the shortage of apples due to the drought there may not be enough actual apples to make it worth starting up the press. However, there’s always plenty to see at Barn Farm and the Model T Fords alone are a sight to see. There may be a change of timing so watch this space!

Dig for Victory 2028
Message from Dig for Victory:
We were delighted with how well Dig For Victory 2026 went.
As many will appreciate, the costs of putting on an event of this scale have risen significantly. This year our infrastructure costs were considerably higher, while visitor numbers were lower than hoped due to ongoing pressures on household budgets and an increasingly busy events calendar.
Dig For Victory is also organised by a small voluntary team, balancing the show alongside work and family commitments. With this in mind, we have decided to take a break in 2027. This will give us time to recharge and review how we can make the show as financially sustainable and resilient as possible for the future.
We’re very pleased to confirm that Dig For Victory will return on 10th & 11th June 2028. Please save the date! We’ll be in touch during 2027 when bookings open.
