Bristol Area MG Owners Club is a thriving group of enthusiasts based in the West Country. Please see our Events Page for details of our Club Nights (Click here for maps) We are a lively crowd who enjoy events throughout the year. We have monthly meetings plus Sunday Runs, weekends away and attendance at local events. Our meetings are definitely not for the discussion of torque settings or crankshafts (although there may be members with answers to your questions should you need them). If you feel we offer the kind of Club that suits you, come and join us, you will be made most welcome. The MG Car Company was founded in 1925 and MG sportscars are known throughout the world. To have an MG is to own a piece of motoring history and that includes the more modern models of course. To satisfy the needs of MG owners, the national MG Owners’ Club was started in 1973 to provide a supply of spare parts, offer insurance and give help and advice on all aspects of MG ownership. It is the largest single marque club in the world. Throughout the country, members of local area MGOC clubs organise regular meetings. Bristol Area MG Owners Club (BAMGOC) is an autonomous club within the National MG Owners’ Club. You do not have to be a member of the National Club to join us, and membership of each club is separate. Membership of BAMGOC entitles you to two subsidised events, the Summer BBQ and a Christmas Get-Together plus our bi-monthly magazine and informational email newsletter.
