NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING WEDNESDAY 8th OCTOBER 2025 Dear BAMGOC Member The club’s Annual General Meeting will be held on club night Wednesday 8th October. This is your club and your opportunity to raise any points you would like to be considered. All of the committee step down at the AGM, and the club would not evolve without change, so if you feel you have a couple of hours a month free, please volunteer your services. It has been decided to revert to our previous, less complicated, procedure for deciding who will be appointed to the committee. NOMINATIONS WILL BE COUNTED AS VOTES. So, if more than one person is nominated for a position, the number of nominations will decide who is appointed to that position. IT IS IMPORTANT THEREFORE TO SUBMIT A NOMINATION FORM FOR YOUR PREFERRED CANDIDATES. CLICK HERE FOR A NOMINATION FORM TO COMPLETE AND RETURN. 1. Nomination forms must be received by noon on Thursday 2nd October. These can be either posted to the address shown or scanned/photographed and emailed to secretary.bamgoc@gmail.com. *Please see the guidance on nominating. 2. No nominations/votes will be accepted at the AGM. Only paid up members may stand for office, nominate or second a nomination may stand for office, nominate or second a nomination. *Do not nominate a member without first asking if they are willing to stand. If you do not have the opportunity to ask in person if someone is willing to stand, email secretary.bamgoc@gmail.com and Pauline will pass on your details to the member concerned so that you can be in contact with each other. If it is not possible for you to get your nomination form physically seconded, it will be acceptable to ask your Seconder for permission for you to sign the form on their behalf (pp).
