The Colin Wotley Cup
The Colin Wotley Cup has now replaced The Hereford Cup
Colin was a committed member of BAMGOC and always enjoyed both
planning and taking part in Sunday Lunch Runs. So, the Hereford Cup has
now been retired and replaced by The Colin Wotley Cup. This is an award for
the best Sunday or evening run organised by a club member. The winner is
decided by those taking part giving marks for various aspects of the run. At the
end of the year the total marks for each run are added up and averaged out so
that the result is not dependant on the number of cars taking part. The run
which attracts the most marks is the winner.
So, if you attend a Sunday Lunch Run and don't have a printed form you can still vote by
downloading a printable form HERE and giving it to Pauline or emailing a scan or photo of it to
secretary.bamgoc@gmail.com
The original Hereford Cup was presented to us by Hereford MGOC for having the largest club
attendance at their 2006 Mountains & Valleys run (22 cars I think) and the committee at the time
decided to use it as an award for the best Sunday or evening run organised by a club member.
